Dear friend, welcome again to another episode of Beyond Letters.
Today, I have a question for you but I want to share a story first. Come with me.
Bolanle, who is a very reserved and quiet person, told me something that happened to her recently. She had a lot of things running through her mind. She was really going through so much emotional troubles.
She wanted to pay her school fees but there was no money. Her brother was sick and needed treatment. She was struggling with her studies as well. This was just few of the things bothering her. It was really a lot for her to bear.
While going through these things, she needed to talk to someone but she had no one to talk to. Her best friend was not available at the time and she just wanted to pour her heart out to somebody. However, she didn’t just want to talk to just anybody because she wasn’t comfortable with it.
Her best friend came around and finally, she could share her worries with someone.
Dear friend, I hope you understand that she couldn’t just talk to someone random because she had not built a relationship with the person. She was more comfortable with her best friend because of how close they’ve become.
My friend, God wants to say a lot of things to you. But how much God can open up to you is dependent on your relationship with Him, how close you are with Him. After all, you can’t just share deep stuffs with just some random person who’s not close to you at all.
There are so many things God wants to say to you but you’re far away. Like Bolanle’s best friend, you’re not around to hear them. So many questions you have that will be answered if you just draw close to Him.
How do I draw close to Him? You’re probably asking this question. Your question will be answered in the next letter.
Before then, don’t forget to always talk to God. He loves you and cares so much about you.
Let me know if this helped you. I look forward to hearing from you.
With Love,
Ayomikun Akindolani.

There are so many things God wants to tell us, but we are far away. Hmmm, thank you for this, Ma.
